Job hunt went fairly well, but it's slightly weird to be looking for a part-time temporary retail job after spending 4 years at college and having had mostly academic jobs for awhile. Have you thought about a temp agency? I hate retail and if it is just work that you don't want to do for a while, there is always someone out on maternity leave or something. I liked it because the hours were normal and you had the weekends. Also, you could substitute teach.

I have a friend who reads a lot of books at once so, it's sane, as far as I know but then again, we're all a little off in my world. Neverwhere is awesome and I want to listen to Assassination Vacation in the car!

I'm applying for a couple retail jobs, but if they don't work out, I'll definitely think about a temp agency. I don't know about subbing, since I think I'm not really certified, and the only thing I'm interested in teaching is Latin. There aren't any openings for that in the area, but I have contacted all local teachers and let them know I'm available for tutoring, so I'm hoping something comes of that.

So far, so good with all the books- not lost what remains of my sanity yet.
