So here's an interesting little conversation I never want to have with myself again:

Me: So about how far have you been running this afternoon?
Me: Er, about half a mile.
Me: I'm trying to think what we ate today.
Me: Cheese!
Me: Yes.  We did have half a piece of cheese.
Me: Cereal?
Me: Yes, we did indeed have some cereal.  When was that?
Me: Um, nine?
