to risk sounding condescending or demanding, stop looking at your time away from daryn as a bad thing. understand that relationships thrive on time apart. being young (i know i'm young too and all), it's hard for us to see, but the alone time you have in the evening or whenever should be used to craft your art and skills and to do all the things you think that you'll never have time for.

so, you'll work, spend your free time concentrating on your hobbies and interests, and then when you happen to have open time that overlaps into daryn's free time, you'll be able to better enjoy it and already have the other shit you wanted to do done and you'll have everything to be excited about.

the time apart thing feels as if it's tearing us apart, not closer together. i don't think distance makes the heart grow fonder after a year and a half of waiting. i just would like someone to come home to once in awhile. it's rough, but so is love in general.
