Summary: He stopped questioning what was he doing with his life. He had lost himself a long ago. Misused, misunderstood. He didn’t know what he had done with himself nor wanted to know. Fuck, being fucked, boys, girls… it didn’t matter to him. This was his life; this had been his life for a long time. A life directed to self-destruction since the moment he lost himself. Self-injury, alcohol, sex with strangers, self-hate… he didn’t care anymore, he was empty, he was Mr. Nothing. But for Sakurai Sho, he would become Mr. Everything.

“I’m… Aiba Masaki”

Sho froze for a moment, had he really told him his name? Or did he just make that name up? Anyway, he decided to believe what the other had just said and started moving again.

“Ok, Aiba-san, gonna make some coffee, is that fine with you?”

Aiba didn’t reply, and Sho hoped he wouldn’t decide to leave the moment he’d turn back. He started to make coffee for both of them and grabbed some cookies, the other guy had felt so fragile in his arms the previous night that it seemed like some weird maternal feelings had awaken inside of Sho, making him wonder what the fuck was he doing.

He came back and placed the cups and the plate in the little table in the middle, still amazed that the other was still there and hadn’t tried to run away.

“May I ask what happened last night?”

“I don’t see what that has to do with you…”

Sho was wordless, what had happened in the other’s life to become like this?

“Well, you’re right, it has nothing to do with me… but I’d like to know”

“Sakurai-san, as I said, that has nothing to do with you”

Sho opted for stay quiet and not insisting about that, though he had his theories about why he was there in the alley beaten and with his clothes quite ripped. What he couldn’t grasp was why the other had let that happen that easily or why he acted as if nothing happened. He kept drinking his coffee while observing the other drinking his own.

“So, Aiba-san… what do you normally do?”

It was the first time Sho had such a difficult conversation; the other didn’t look like he’d tell him anything. Actually, he was still amazed he had come to know his name.

“You mean apart of going out, getting fucked and drunk?”

Sho was taken aback from the direct answer; he was staring at the empty expression Aiba was giving him as he kept sipping his coffee.

“Yeah… I guess”

“I work”

Well, Sho had assumed that, after all, you can’t pay partying hard with air… though it had crossed through his mind the option of the other financing it with his body. After all he didn’t seem to have any problem with that.

The more he looked at him, the less he could read him. It was impossible to know anything… it was as if the other had closed himself inside an empty shell, and wouldn’t let anybody in.

“You don’t trust easily, right?”

“Why should I? That never brings anything good”

Sho stared at him again, just what had happened to this guy? They had a similar life style, but he did it for fun, the other just seemed to use it to destroy himself, to get away from all. Then, the other cuts came back to his mind, and even when it may be a mistake, he had to ask.

“This…Aiba-san… last night while treating your wounds I… saw the cuts, I didn’t intend it, and I’m sorry, really. Is just that---“

“Why you care?”

Sho could see Aiba’s hard expression while saying that. Well, that was right, why he cared?

“I don’t know… do you do that to yourself?”

“What if I do?”

Sho didn’t know what to say. What can you say in that situation? He just knew that it hurt him somehow to know the other could be doing that to himself.

“Why?”

“Don’t expect that because you helped me, I owe you something, I didn’t ask you to. Now, if you excuse me Sakurai-san, I have to go”

Sho couldn’t even react to that, and the other had already left before he could say anything. He didn’t do it so the other would owe him something. He did it… well, he didn’t know why. But no matter what, he couldn’t leave him there in that alley, he wasn’t that inhuman. He started to clean the cups, while wondering if he’d seen the other again. Now at least he had a name… Aiba Masaki.

A/N: Well, it was obvious (at least to me) who it was Mr. Nothing, so, no surprise, right? XDD Well, this chapter is quite short, I know! Anyway, hope you're all enjoying the story. <3
