It was destructive. They both knew it, and yet they couldn’t stop. They needed each other like a destructive addiction, like a drug. That was what Aiba was to him, his drug, a dangerous and very addictive drug. And they had been playing to destroy each other, drowned in their own type of love.

He needed him. He knew he couldn’t go without him. Then why was Aiba laughing around with other people? Why was now sitting so close to his co-worker? He was his, his laugher was his. Nobody’s else but his. And he was going to make sure about that. He dragged Aiba away from his office building, he didn’t give a funk who was that guy Aiba was laughing with, and Aiba shouldn’t either. Aiba just followed, as he knew he would, until they arrived to his apartment. He was going to show him to laugh around with other men. No more laughs, those were just for him.

He wasn’t sure when their relationship turned that way, when it got so wicked. He looked back to the bed where tears were still flowing down Aiba’s face. Was it really love?

He was scared. Scared like never before. He could see him slip out of his reach little by little, and the feeling was enough to keep him unable to prevent it. He knew it. He knew he couldn't lose him. His life would lose its sense, his reason to be. He was nothing without Aiba. That's why he was going to fight to his last bit of strength. He would stand up and fight for him, fight for their love. He would not worry about tomorrow, it just mattered the moment, it just mattered to make him stay.

He couldn't remember how long they had been together, or at what point he had become the reason of his whole existence. He had forgotten too when the fights had stared, when their relationship started to go wrong with nobody to fight for their love. He knew he had his share of fault... a big one. But he wouldn't lose it, he couldn't lose him. He was going to fight. After all the obstacles passed, the problems with his family for loving another guy, the discrimination. He couldn't let that to keep trampling on their love. He loved him.

He stared at his reflection in the mirror. The blue circles under his eyes were the war scars of a battle that had been going for too long without a real fight, at least without the correct one. They had been fighting over anything, but none had put a fight for the only thing that they should, their love. Their childish behavior not facing the reality is what had brought them there, to run away like cowards. But it was time to put on the armor and fight. Fight to make Aiba stay with him. Fight for Aiba's love.

It was the time to risk it all in just one card. It wasn't the time to stay sitting waiting, he needed to do it. He had been lost in his feelings for so long, but it was time to wake up and work on making him happy as he promised him in the beginning. He knew how much Aiba had stand for him, but he also knew Aiba had a limit, and he had been pushing it like an idiot, taking Aiba's love for granted. But nothing is for sure, and he could see Aiba drifting away by seconds.
