"HUH?!"
Aiba returned to reality and chased after him. That was the guy he'd tried to forget. That was the guy he loved. That was the guy that destroyed his life. And now he dared to talk to him like that? He reached him and grabbed his arm.
"Why?"
"Why what?" Sho was looking at him with a puzzled expression.
"Why you had to remind me that?" Aiba's voice broke with the anger and the pain he was feeling now.
"Is this some kind of game for you again?"Aiba asked trying not to cry
"Again? What are you talking about?" Sho asked with a serious tone
"I was seriously in love with you back then!”
Sho got closer to him and tried to caress the other man's face, but Aiba just moved a step back.
"Weren't you the one that leave me, without explanation? It was serious for me too"
Sho tried to move closer to Aiba again, and moved his hand to the other one’s face.
"Don't touch me!" he yelled pushing Sho's hand away from him "I heard you, you know? That day with your classmate..." he snapped and continued "You laughed! You laughed when he asked you for me...I hope at least you had fun while it lasted" He lowered his gaze trying to hide the tears that were brimming his eyes, he was too angry to let the other see him crying. And he had promised himself years ago, that he wouldn’t be crying about this again.
"You think I laughed of you?" Sho asked with a bit of surprise on his voice "That's why you never came back? Are you idiot or something?" he replied
Aiba's eyes widened and looked up, meeting the other's gaze for a moment
"I heard you" was all he said
"And did you ever consider that could be because I was nervous? I was a high school boy for god's sake! I never laughed of you, you idiot"
Aiba was out of words. Had he been wrong all this time, was he wrong back then? No, such an easy explanation wouldn't make him forget 10 years of hate and pain. It was impossible, he saw it, he saw him laughing. Was it just because he was embarrassed?
He was lost in his thoughts when Sho talked again.
"Not once in these 10 years I've forgotten about you. Any new relationship, anything couldn't work because I couldn't forget you"
"Wha--"
"But I'm glad we've made this clear... now I can seduce you again"
"What?! That's not gonna happen! Not even in a hundred years I'll fall in love for you again, you hear me?"
"I'll make you love me again, I promise"
He turned around leaving Aiba with the word in his mouth.
What was the guy thinking? Making him love him again? That was impossible!
"There is no way I'm gonna love anybody again and there is definitely no way I'm falling for him again! Never!"
Aiba walked to his spot in the department to pick his things and left as soon as he could, not wanting to see him again. And even more, he was going to move his belongings to his new apartment today.
Finally, all his stuff was in his new apartment. Part of it was still inside the boxes but he had taken off the main things he would need. It wasn't a big apartment, but he was glad to live by his own at least.
He was about to cook some dinner when he realized he hadn't buy any salt and he was too tired to go to the super to buy any.
"Well, I could ask any neighbor, that way I meet them"
He had always like meeting people, and he was decided to have a good relationship with his neighbors.
He put his shoes on and grabbed his keys to go to knock on the next door, wondering how his neighbors would be, so far he just knew the landlord.
As soon as the door opened he bowed his head and began his introduction.
"Sorry, I'm Aiba Masaki just moved the apartment next door. I was wondering if-- huh?!" He cut his words as soon as he raised his gaze. Why?
"What? You came to say you love me already?"
What had he done to deserve that?
"There is no way that'll happen"
The shock of finding out who was his neighbor made him forget what he wanted to ask and went back to his own apartment and closed his door as soon as he got in.
He let himself fall with his back facing the door. He was definitely not expecting to see that person again that day and less that he was gonna be his neighbor.
"Damn, what do I do now?" he thought sighting "but I can’t find another place now"
The sound of his stomach made him remember he still hadn't have dinner, he let himself fall to one side and lied on the floor looking at the ceiling
Why he had to meet him again? And who did he thought he was to think he was going to fall for him again? This was just frustrating.
"I will never ever going to love you again senpai. N-E-V-E-R" he said out loud with determination.
A/N: ok, so, we gotta confess we had the chapter writen since days ago, but we've been lazy and busy to post it till now.
