You've been rather dead as of late....

There once was a man,
And his life was neither harsh nor mild.

But he met with circumstances he could not overcome.

As is the way of such things,
He changed to better cope with such matters.
He gave up parts of himself that defined him,
Parts he could not live with out.

"To change is to die," the Corpse mused.
