Yaay for shitty schedules all around. D: I'm still annoyed at my lack of classes. I should probably take Capstone this semester, but since I have like, no hours right now I don't want to add more scheduling difficulties to that. :/ I might just give up eating lunch or something and see if I can't steal a few more hours out of that.
Anyhow, we've used up our vacation on a nonstop Star Trek marathon, lulz. Nearly done with season 1 of the first series. Spock is kind of adorable, although I'm surprised people don't get on his case about how often he just runs around wrapping his arm around people's shoulders and holding their hands. Bones knows what's up, though. Probably because of the number of times this happens:
Spock: MCCOY. KIRK HAS A GIRLFRIEND.
Bones: No shit?
Spock: WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING.
Bones: ... uh, why?
Spock: I DON'T TRUST HER. THERE'S SOMETHING GOING ON HERE. WE NEED TO SAVE HIM.
Bones: Why don't you just get drunk like the rest of the world when they're in these situations? D:
Spock: *flaaaail*
It's just kind of amazing, because he's just so ridiculous about it.
Computer: Computed, dear.
Kirk: ... ... Uh, wtf.
Spock: KILL THE COMPUTER. NOW. NO MORE FEMALE VOICE. FIX IT. D: RAWR. D:
Star Trek drinking game: Drink everytime Kirk gets Spock Block'd. Enjoy your hangover. :D
But yeah. Spock makes me feel better for all the times I just started sobbing while doing math homework. TWO. PLUS. TWO. EQUALS. FOUR.*sob* FOUR. PLUS. TWO. EQUALS. *bangs head on table and sobs hysterically* Yeah. I can't stop imitating that now. :( It's terrible.
But yeah. Other people have parties where they get drunk and blast Lady Gaga. (Admittedly we've been blasting Lady Gaga while sober, so I can't say much for that), we have parties where we get drunk and watch Star Trek. :( Our poor RA. I don't think we've bothered him yet, though, because he hasn't mentioned anything. Yaay, cinderblock walls? So terrible, though. We had like, six people over here last night drinking Smirnoff and Mike's Hard Lemonade (Harder Lemonade, I think is actually what it was? Hardest? One of those. 8% gooo~). So yeah. Just a lot of "SPOOOOOCK!!!" and "TWO. PLUS. TWO. EQUALS. FOUR."
Shaun insists he wasn't drunk, but he actually took the bet that there wouldn't be a Kirk and Spock music video to "If You Were Gay." And made the mistake of thinking that I wouldn't remember that he therefore owes me $4.75. Big mistake on his part.
Right now Sam's stolen a bunch of people from around the Townies to invite them over for Rock Band. They've decided it's a good idea to turn the volume up past the "blow up the speakers" point and open the door.
So I guess I don't feel too bad for our Trek parties. At least we left the door closed so the world wouldn't have to listen to us screaming.
Anyhow. Fabric has been bought for our modified version of the uniforms. Settled on a navy blue rather than the French blue. As much as I like the French blue color. But navy will match more with other things, and... you can kind of take it more seriously as a uniform. It'll work. And be awesome.
Want wig so badly asdghla. D: Bought it about a week ago, so it should be on its way now. Probably next week sometime. Want now, though. :(
Okay, Rock Band is over. Spock tiems nao.
No classes tomorrow bwahahahahaha. I guess after work I'll pick up the Oreo pies and some eggs. I figure two pies and then I can make a cake or something, since I imagine people will be coming over because it's Sam's birthday and all.
And fuuuck. Computer, why you do this. :( My battery has apparently fully died, so now my computer turns off if I unplug it. Sobs. I guess I'll stick that onto my "things to buy off of Amazon sometime soon". Along with Ruth's Spock ears, some test tube shooters like JB's because we need those direly, and a few textbooks. Ohyeah. College shopping lists are magical.
