Anyone have suggestions for good marniades to impart flavor to chicken before grilling it?

Curious, since you seem to be another slow cooker aficionado -- what else do you put in with the chicken when you cook it with italian dressing? (Or what constitutes similar to italian dressing?) I haven't tried this, and I'm curious to know if I'd like it.
