This past Saturday was Mal’s appointment for getting the h1n1 vaccine from the county health department clinic. Glad to hear you had such a good experience. I haven't tried hard to get a vaccine since we're not in any risk groups. SB is kind of, but usually it's grade school teachers who are considered a risk group. But we ARE going to get on a plan in December. I should at least take a look.

That's how I understood the booster shot--that it is recommended for babies and children under (5?) but they would get some protection anyway, if they got no booster. We're in a similar situation in that the boys may have had h1n1, but we're on the list to get them a booster anyway. Especially since they got their first vaccine right when they were already sick, which isn't recommended, so Im not sure how well they responded to that, you know?
