This past Saturday was Mal’s appointment for getting the h1n1 vaccine from the county health department clinic. Last week, our pediatrician’s office finally got the mist vaccine too, but we decided to just go with the appointment we already had. This may be like fixing the barn door after the horse has left. Glad to hear you had such a good experience. I haven't tried hard to get a vaccine since we're not in any risk groups. SB is kind of, but usually it's grade school teachers who are considered a risk group. But we ARE going to get on a plan in December. I should at least take a look.

That's how I understood the booster shot--that it is recommended for babies and children under (5?) but they would get some protection anyway, if they got no booster. We're in a similar situation in that the boys may have had h1n1, but we're on the list to get them a booster anyway. Especially since they got their first vaccine right when they were already sick, which isn't recommended, so Im not sure how well they responded to that, you know?
