hm... i see you already finished your thoughts on whether or not that desire is selfish. but i thought i'd add.

i don't think wanting that someone is selfish (i admit i'm biased because i want the same) because it's not something you want at the expense of anyone else. and it's such a sincere desire that if it were to be labeled selfish... then most other wants/wishes are doomed by default.

life's so big... it's nice to have someone to be there with you through it all.
