Yay for pushups!!
Its hard to say with livejournal..sure its a place to vent and a place to be honest, but with honesty comes..crazy chaos, rumors, and pain. Be prepared. I would recite the lyrics to The Lion King's "Be prepared" but I know David wouldn't have it!!! :o)
much love, and happy pentagoning!!

You have dragged me into responding to something rather than just reading it and moving on. I like reading everybody's journals as a way to keep up with what's going on in their lives when I don't get to see them for a long time. love, manderson

do we assume that the stories told are very biased or do we accept them?

i'm going to respond with one of my favorite quotes: "some things are hard to write about. after something happens to you, you go to write it down, and either you overdramatize it or underplay it, exaggerate the wrong parts or ignored the important ones. at any rate, you never write it quite the way you want to." or in the beginning of great expectations: "i'm not going to tell the story the way it happened. i'm going to tell it the way i remember it."

i think everyone realizes that a story told by one person is seen, interpreted, experienced, or remembered differently than another person. that's part of being an individual i guess.

if anyone reads too much into what is said/interpreted in a livejournal they are just nuts. i think we all realize that no matter who you are, even if you're an honest-to-a-fault bitch like me, you do write things in livejournal that are different than the real truth. because the real truth is so much more than can be expressed in ( ... )

So my take on the online diary thing is this, you get to choose, it is your diary, but you may want to attach warning statments or some other disclaimer because for some reason when people read these things they seem to disregard the fact the the feelings or thoughts that you share are the feelings or thoughts that you have at the time you make the entry, they forget that feelings and thoughts can change. Being completely honest tends to bite you in the ass, as it did for me today, but if you are a tough cookie and I think you are you can handle it and move on. Wow this is probably my longest comment ever...I should really get a lj...notice the lack of sentances...

It definatly seems the journal is yours to do what you will with it. It will be what you make it. Whether or not its right to write about personal problems with others and mention names... I can see it both ways, so i guess it all goes back to it is what you make it because it is yours.
