You write the best AUs. I love watching how your characters grow in different ways with changing circumstances.

GOOD. The longer it got, the further away from your original prompt it got, and the world definitely needs Marilyn as a jaeger pilot and Mark and Dustin et all as her tech team BECAUSE REASONS.

Holy damn, this was fantastic. I love Erica, so much. Even though this was dark, it was still the best ever. That first bit with Amy destroyed me.

HEATHER HEATHER HEATHER that bit with Amy was something I've been wanting to write for awhile, because remember how Charlie Hufndsjkc (RALEIGH'S ACTOR) and Dakota DFjidcjls (AMY'S ACTRESS WHAT ARE LAST NAMES AND HOW DO YOU DO THEM) were going to be in Fifty Shades together? OBVIOUSLY the only way to make that palatable is to write Amelia Ritter and Raleigh Becket being bros. Like, I imagined that after Trespasser destroyed everything she knew -- her home, her family, Stanford and even Facebook -- she was one of the first people to sign up to work on the Wall, and when Raleigh shunts over that way after his discharge from the PPDC, he meets her in the canteen and gets to know her without meaning to.

So I recycled bits of that idea and stitched it into this :D :D

THANK YOU ♥&hearts!!

Goodness gracious, this was absolutely gorgeous. I liked that it was a genuine crossover rather than a fusion fic, because it was nice to see how Mark slotted into the world, rather than seeing him step into the places of Raleigh or Mako. I really enjoyed the fact you clearly made a real effort to give the story a real worldly feel, and it was neat to see the actual ground-level social ramifications of kaijus and jaegars. The writing here is, as usual, beautiful and gripping.

Thanks for writing this, it was brilliant! ♥

Oh my gosh, thank you so much for leaving such a lovely comment!

When I first logged on after seeing the movie and everybody was buzzing about the crossover potential that Pacific Rim had, I was just kind of like, ... that's nice, but I'm pretty sure half my last fandom died, you know, living in the Bay Area and all. And I didn't want to write the fic where Eduardo sits around going, "all of my ex-friends are dead D:" But mostly I wanted to write this crossover because the idea of the Kaidanovskys towering over Mark Zuckerberg was endlessly hilarious to me :D:D

But jfkldsjifosdjlckds thank you again!
