More free than 90% of the world's population? Nope, not a chance. Russia is more free than we are at the practical level, as are most of the people in the world. Hell, Botswanan bushmen are more free from government action, I doubt they know they have one ( ... )

I initially thought about putting more into the "flag changed for a while then stopped" section, about how the country itself is radically different now as well. Quoting the second line there instead served as the transition.

Hmm. I can agree with you on 4, the garden and doctor parts of 6, 7, 11, 13, 18, 19, 20, and 21 completely, and so long as it only affects you & no others, I agree on 2, 3, the rest of 6 (except, if congress passes them, They are US laws even if they originated in the UN or in treaties), 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, and 17 ( ... )

More to the point than m reasons for wanting the specific items on my list is that the list of freedoms I would like that the constitution guarantees and that have been infringed totally is LONG. Our founding fathers would have no desire whatsoever to live in what this nation has become.

We have indeed exchanged 1 tyrant 4000 miles from home for 4000 tyrants 1 mile from home.
