I have always connected CG with Sleeping Beauty, which was made obvious in A Place for Birds, and this is possibly why. (If you can follow my brain's logic. I'm not sure I can.)

Not that it matters, but pairing in question is CC-->Lelouch-->Suzaku, and since Lelouch has to turn 17 in winter 2016, as he's 17 in summer 2017, he turned 11 in 2010.

How did I NOT connect Area 11 to Lelouch being the 11th prince?? Fail big time.

You see, this creeps me out a tad because of how well it all fits with the story we have so far XD. Congratulations on making it work. Knowing you, I suppose there won't be a continuation which is too bad, too bad.

Well, all romances have a bit of archetypical underpinnings. All I had to do was find the dots that would connect. XD I did wanted to write a continuation, though, but without seeing Season 2, it's a bit hard to write a retelling (besides, it would be more boring than this).

Someone needs to make a full-colour picture book out of this. And name it...

Why do your AUs get classed under Junk Pile? It's like there's never going to be chapter twos. And I like them.

Name it what? XD And well, since I don't know any other people who draws...*pointed look*

Uh....mostly because they're...junkish? That, and it either doesn't apply to new revelations, I have no idea where it's going past the imaginary third chapter, or I just lost interest but still liked whatever's finished of it enough to show for posterity. I believe this one falls under Category 2.

(I really like writing without an outline, I do. But that's mostly in originals, where you know everything about each character and are just waiting for their personalities to clash off.)

Ah, I love this. I love how doomed to boot it is. I particularly love the part about C.C.'s blessing in disguise, and the king's reaction. Very well done, lovely as usual. How smart to connect Lelouch's birthday and birth order with Area 11. I bow before your superior dorkness. :D

You call this lovely? XD Thank you. <3 'Doomed' is sort of a requirement when you're doing a Code Geass fic that's not complete comedy, though. Canon is about Lelouch hurting the ones he loves, after all.

Doomed is lovely as long as it's fiction. And I totally agree with you about the requirement part. :D

That thing is over... I don't know, 18.000 words now? Not sure you are going to like it tho, since I'm submerged in Suzalulu up to my nose. XD

I like long fics! And well, if I actually mind SuzaLulu, I wouldn't have stayed in fandom this long. XD It's not really my thing, but I enjoy reading it all the same.
