So I come back from work, and it's late, and my car is in the shop because they are refusing to give me an inspection sticker, and it's going to cost me an arm and a leg to pay for the repairs they want to make, and I'm sick and miserable and coughing all over the place, and I'm grumbling and feeling sorry for myself ( Read more... )

*loves you* Thank you! I thought for sure that your plans had changed and you weren't going to send me any this year. So it was a total surprise for me when I saw the package today. *g*

I'm just curious -- how long did it take for the package to get from you to me? Was it more than a day?

My baklava making is a very scheduled thing. I am not allowed to change plans lest I have some very irate friends and family wondering what the hell I've done with their treats. I have my batches planned out to the piece practically. I do love to make it though.

I think it probably took less than 24 hours. I mailed it from Andover around 5pm yesterday.

I don't have time to be sick! I'm leaving for a trip again in two days, and I still have to bring about world peace and abolish world hunger finish about 100 things I have to do for work!

*coughs, sniffles, and infects everybody in the office in one fell swoop*

*sigh*

That's OK, though, because I think I've just died from the cuteness of your icon, so it's not like I'm feeling any pain. ;) *hugs you and snuggles the baby panda* awwww!!!
