Just wanted to post to wish a very happy birthday to the wonderful kernezeldaOne of the reasons I am so grateful for livejournal is that without it, I would never have met you and become friends with you. This is going to seem really random but I was reading one of your old Earth Final Conflict fics, Building Bridges. Anyway, it is really good and I was wondering if you are ever going to dust it off and finish it. Or if it does have more than three chapters, where would I find the rest? Thankx

Oh, wow! That's really weird, because I *just* the other day dug up "Building Bridges" on the EFC board for the first time in years, and thought about what it would take to finish it, or at least bring it to some kind of more satisfying conclusion. It's been hanging over me all this time, and I know it's not right to leave it unfinished.

Anyway. Thank you so much for your kind comment! I am really glad you liked my story! I didn't think anyone was even reading it anymore. All I can tell you is that I do remember about it, and I *am* going to try and finish it, but I can't promise anything. It's been a really long time, and I'm not even sure that I can remember enough EFC canon to do these characters justice.

I'm pretty sure that the latest version of Building Bridges I posted on the EFC board had more than three chapters, though. You must have found an older version of the story somehow. So, if you'd like to read more, you can find it there. It's still not even close to finished, though, and I do apologize for that. Believe me, I ( ... )
