One of these days, I will actually post something of substance here. But in the meantime, everybody has been posting their Dreamwidth invite codes so people can take them, so I figured I'd post mine, as well.

I hope you enjoy the account! And I am not sure if you really need to switch, either - I just thought I would provide people with the option. :)

And I think syndication works more or less the same on Dreamwidth as it does on LJ. I'm not sure, though, since I've never tried to create one. Here is the section of the Dreamwidth FAQ that talks about creating feeds. (They call them simply "feeds", rather than "syndication feds", but I doubt that makes much of a difference. *g*)

From what I've heard, though, Dreamwidth accounts also work much better than LJ with RSS aggregators (like google reader, for example), so if you want to read Dreamwidth along with a lot of blogspot accounts, you might be better off using a different RSS aggregator, and just putting any Dreamwidth accounts you want to read on there as well. (Here is how you can access the RSS feeds for Dreamwidth.) I've never used RSS aggregators, but I know people who do, and they

I am very glad you found these invite codes useful. I had just about decided that nobody else was going to use them, so I am glad to be proven wrong. I hope you enjoy your new Dreamwidth account. :)

And you are absolutely welcome to comment in Russian or in English - whatever is easier for you. I just can't reply in Russian, because this is a relatively new computer, and I haven't had the chance to install a Russian keyboard on it yet. I'll edit the post to say that as well.
