Cherish the loved ones you have--whoever and wherever they are--and cherish yourself as the old year passes away and 366 shiny new days come to us.

Amen to that, Verlinda! And a Happy New Year to you too.

Happy New Year to you, P & the rest of the family! Hope to see you again before too much time passes--hard to believe it's going on 4 years!

Thank you for your message Verlinda, about cherishing our loved ones.
You know, I like the idea of staying in on New Year's Eve and having a contemplative evening in comfort. I'm not big on the big NYE parties and always tend to sneak off as soon as midnight has struck, however we go out with our bunch of friends and have a fun night playing our favourite songs and singing. I can take that. Just as long as no strangers lurch up for a kiss - I can't take that at all!

Nothing wrong with spending it alone. I'm as well. It does make for an awfully great opportunity to think some things through. ;)
Happy New Year, dearest V! <3
