You could always double major and if you change your mind about one of the majors, you could just drop it. That's what I'm doing with my second major (Spanish)

Whoa, I thought I had replied to this. I guess I didn't hit "post comment". :O Sorry Rosie!

I really appreciate you telling me your story. Your writing is fabulous. I'm afraid i'm still unsure of myself, but hopefully that will change in due time.

Take what you said, replace "art" with English, and you have my situation. But I'm 2 months away from my graduation...

I, too, am still reconsidering what to do for my minors/second major (and having doubtful thoughts about the main one that I am most definitely stuck with) as I come up toward my fifth and final year...

What else would you consider majoring in?
There is a hell of a lot of exciting stuff to learn. I suspect if I had done art, it would have driven me a little wacky to learn any of the (non-art-related) academic stuff.

How far along are you in your pregnancy major? Passion is really important. If you're already bored with it, I'd say switch now. You'll be competing against people who are really into what they do... even if you are the better artist, people who are really involved and active in the community and love their work are more likely to get the jobs. And as much as I hate saying it, since this relates to me too, sequential hard is a TOUGH job to break into. The same can be said for almost any kind of art.

What would you consider switching to? I guess the most important thing is to ask yourself what you want more: to do something you like, or to make money. But if you don't even like what you're doing now, you're going to be miserable trying to do that AND not making money. XD:;

P.S. Got any links to your art?
