To all new arrivals, or simply uninformed residents of the village- just as Winry stated earlier this week, we at the smithy are available for metalworking commissions. Currently we're lacking in projects, so if you have any desire for a weapon or some kind of crafted work, feel free to make a request. I specialize in advanced weaponry design and ( Read more... )

It takes months of practice and concentration to master any magic, especially elemental magic. Since the elements are much harder to control than magics with non-elemental properties.

That much is obvious. I'm more interested in specific methods.

Specific methods? Hmm I see. It would depend upon the person, if you want my honest opinion. Are you a user of magic in your world?

I am. I specialize in the elements of wind and fire.

I know some who are not magic users and wish to learn magic, but it seems your case a little much like myself. Since you have the potential to use magic, I'm certain you can expand your boundaries to use other magic beside wind and fire. Perhaps when I've recovered from my injuries, I could help you to practice?

Actually... the reason I specified those elements are due to the nature of the magic itself. I can't just expand to learn the others- wind and fire are my limits.

That is very fascinating indeed. Perhaps you could come over to my apartment and meet with my friend Helios Sprensonne? He's quite the expert on magic and I'm certain he could figure out the best methods to help you. Or I could ask him to speak with you over the journal if you feel more comfortable that way?

The journal would likely be faster, but otherwise I don't particularly care.

I shall speak with him in moment's time, since getting about is not easy for me still. Ah but where are my manners? Please excuse me, my name is Frederic Francois Chopin. It's a pleasure to meet you.

I'm Edward. Thank you for your advice, as well. I do appreciate it. [Even if he is a little gruff. He's in a surprisingly good mood today, though.]

You're very welcome, Mister Edward. I would also be honored to have a spar of magics with you when I'm feeling less under the weather.

...I'm not sure that would be wise. I'm no mage- I use the elements to enhance my swordsmanship techniques, nothing more.

You are a magic swordsman then? I've heard of those from Helios.

That's more or less an accurate description.

Oh I've always wanted to meet one of those, being able to use magic to enhance their abilities.

["One of those"? He makes it sound like they're a rare breed.]

You could just ask.
