You can certainly use talent in sports as a means to fund your college education, but not as an exclusive study. Unless you're planning on going to university designed to cater to a specific subject (visual art, preforming art, culinary art, etc) you'll be studying a bit of everything.

Maybe they're worried you'll bore yourself to death without something to occupy your time, Kirihara-senpai.

Yeah, so I noticed while researching.

I haven't bored myself to death the past year, I don't think I will in the near future. So I don't think that's the case. Prolly family pressure, they're all obsessed with higher education.

You know, Senpai, if you're interested, there's actually a music school here in town that is fairly discerning in their admissions process. My sax instructor keeps trying to get me to look into scholarship programs there. I'm sure I could find a link to a website, if you want.
