Marek liked driving, especially over long stretches of highway. There was something pretty zen about the whole thing. Of course, despite the like, he was pretty sure by the end of this trip he was going to want to be anywhere but a car for a while. Good thing DC was better for walking than driving. I have a vague feeling he felt uncomfortable because for much of his life he was something supernatural.
