Journalism Failure

I'll try to be more diligent? Fail.....fail. fail. fail. Good news = according to my predicted failure, I am ahead of the game because Jude has not even started any form of school yet. But alas, another year has come and gone and no one (including myself) knows what has happened between then and now.

Olive Garden and I broke up. It was time. Four ( Read more... )

Well, thank you :) I can't take credit for the title though, it's actually a song by Rufus Wainwright. You should check it out.

I'm so proud of the steps you are taking. At least you won't be haunted with the thoughts of never trying. I must ask though, with 15 credits ahead of you, when will you work or sleep for that matter...it quite a bit more than orientation.
I do wish you luck and can't wait to here about college life as a single parent. I admire the impossibilities we face and conquer but don't realize we conquer until much time has passed. Exciting and terrifying but oh so worth it!!!

That is a valid question. Well, the plan is to get another restaurant job working only a few nights a week. I am currently living back at home so that obviously helps a lot. I still have a few monthly bills and a child to take care of but at least I don't have rent. And as for sleeping? I guess I'm giving it up for a while. I don't have it all worked out, that's for sure, but I do have faith. :)

If you don't have to work for this first semester, I wouldn't. You don't want to be faced with decisions to drop classes or your new job. 15 credits is a lot, especially if you have not been in a college setting before. You don't want to overload yourself while your are trying to get the hang of it. As for sleep and faith; they sort of go hand in hand. You can have all the faith in the world but without balancing your overall faith, which includes fellowship/prayer/reading, sleep, food, exercise, down time, etc., I'm a firm believer that "anything can happen" and "with God all things are possible". Take care of yourself so you will have the strength to be there for that sweet baby boy:) I know you will have lots of fun continuing your education and with that faith you will go oh so far....endless:)
