working in medicine where the females are the vast majority sometimes makes my head want to explode. There are some who are really great people and workers, but jeeeeeeeeeeez the petty drama and all of the life issues women seem to have men don't

Makes me think of the head nurse in the ER when my mom had her big attack... She was sooooo totally awful to mom, and all the other people there.. like, pure evil.. SHE was so much more important than the patients.

Thankfully most hospitals are getting tired of those types of nurses as with all the blogs going around an awful employee can make a fair number of people go elsewhere for care. Usually they will have a patient relations department you can ask for, and let them have a detailed description of everything that occured. A few complaints and she'd end up on the night shift or moved elsewhere.
