I've got a burning question, for those of you who regularly (read: ever) go to clothing stores. I realize there is no tactful way of asking this question, so I'll just put it out there:

Have mannequins always had protruding nipples? I don't recall having ever seen this phenomenon before, and now they're on every store window on Boylston Street

I don't think they always have, but I don't think this is new. More conservative stores still don't have them, I don't think. I remember being shocked seeing some that did when I was younger. I did notice some that were especially... sharp-looking the last time I was at H&M with Renée. Scary.

Can't help you with that huge pile of obsolete mannequins, though.
