I love it! And I agree with the two of them--evolution IS logical, when you know anything about it.

I think you've portrayed both of them beautifully. I do love Crowley talking to a tortoise and expecting it to answer, and Aziraphale considering Macedonian Greek to be a venial sin at least.

Well done!

That is the beauty of the theory of evolution by natural selection - it's so elegantly logical. I like the idea of playing around with evolutionary theory in the Good Omens universe for that reason. Canonically it's flat-out wrong, but given the evidence, Someone has gone to an awful lot of trouble to make it look good...

Thank you! I'm glad you think I've done them justice - it's been so long since I attempted GO fic, I wasn't sure I could get their voices down.

Love that! Especially Aziraphale's views on Macedonian and the various uses to which tortoises may be put. Also //It wasn’t polite, of course, but then again, it usually wasn't a good idea to listen too closely to everything Crowley said. One often got oneself into trouble that way// is probably a good way to deal with demons generally...

Thank you! :D

For some reason I know about a bunch of uses to which those tortoises were put, but I managed to restrain myself from including them all, heh.

Very glad you enjoyed it! :D

Don't tempt me, or I'll end up writing GO fic that revolves entirely around bad Latin grammar jokes... *points to icon*

Of course now I'm contemplating fic that involves Crowley trying to explain to Aziraphale why anyone would find "Semper ubi sub ubi" amusing...
