i think its good that you dont drink, have sex, and smoke pot. if i had any self control i wouldnt either. but its also not as bad as you amke it all out to be. im not saying you should do it, because that is your own chioce and i respect whatever you decide for yourself, but at the same time i think you should respect other people's deicions a little more even if you do disagree with them. but im not like attacking you bceause i think all of your points are very valid in your past few posts. yeah thats all.

Stay that way as long as you can, trust me, the "real world" really sucks, if you don't like the potential anwsers to the aforementioned questions. You'll learn about all this stuff soon enough, and it's really not that cool. You're only a kid once, and you really don't miss it until it's gone.
i think you're over doing it when you say *everyone* is obsessed with growing up. i think that sometimes some teenagers feel like they're stuck in the middle-between child and adult-and don't know which way to turn. adulthood is appealing to some of us simply because adults are mature and can do more things then kids/teenagers can. innocence isn't completly lost, paul. it's still there quite a bit of the time. i agree that a lot of people have thrown away their childhood, but it's not always for the same reason, it's not always a mistake. sometimes people are just ready to mature and don't know quite how to do it. there are zillions of diffrent cases. sometimes you are right and people are eager to mature for stupid shallow reasons. but sometimes people start maturing because that's just who they are. you shouldn't be insulted when people tell you that you're missing out by not doing drugs or having sex. but you probably should appreciate people who do do drugs and have sex. you don't have to agree or like it, because appreciation and

Thank you - in all honesty, I really needed someone to agree with me, and you've really boosted my slightly waning enthusiasm, so to speak, for myself. I hate to say this, but I was starting to think that the majority's actions and behavior was right and just (I AM a teen, after all, no matter how different I am), albeit only a little bit, and you have renewed my confidence in this matter greatly.
