Okay, I AM a vegetarian. Haven't eaten turkey since the 80s -- yes, that long ago (I think...). I do eat pie though. In fact, I can eat a lot of pie. And in terms of snow, I've got about eight inches of pure, fluffy white stuff outside my window right now. It won't be long before I get the skates out.

I live in Georgia, so snow is pretty much a foreign word to me. But since I'm currently in Pennsylvania with my relatives, I get to play in 4 inches of it. That's probably not very much to you, but hey - it's GA after all!

Here, when it only snows four inches, we celebrate because that's such an abnormally small amount. At least two or three times during the winter we'll get one to two feet of snow in a day. By March, the snowbanks will be five feet high by the sides of the road. We have a canal here -- the Byward Canal -- that freezes over in the winter so you can skate on it. It goes about five miles, from right downtown, in the north end of town, all the way to Carleton University. People actuall skate to work.
That said, I would trade Georgia weather for the weather here -- at least for half the winter. I get sick of the winter about halfway through.

And anyway, I don't think I ever want to see another turkey again for at least a month...
