Well, another Christmas has come and gone. We had a very quiet day at home, very relaxing. I'm so excited because I got two Barnes & Noble gift certificates! Hopefully some time next weekend I'll get to spend a good long time in there. My moto is "you can never have too many books ( Read more... )

I'm a sky gazer too. We a lovely view of the sky from the house and I'm often to be found just staring out at it.

We had mild weather over Christmas too but it's now cold again. Parts of the UK have snow at the moment but none down here in Devon.

Really glad you're feeling a bit better.

Thanks Caffy! The weather here has been up and down. Tonight we're supposed to get freezing rain. Yuck! We still have some snow on the ground, but not much.

That's a lovely poem, L. Wish we had snow but like C says, it's over on the East coast but the sky looks a bit dark on the horizon here. THere was a programme about Glastonbury Tor on yesterday. If it's any good, I;ll record it for you. Happy browsing in B&N!

Thanks Snapesoul! If that program on the Tor is any good and you get the chance to record it, I would love to see it! Hopefully I'll get to B&N this weekend. Number 1 on the list to get is Goddess Tarot and a book on tarot! In the ARDH Chat the other night Emtee was saying there's a book out that talks about all the theories on HP that I may just have to get as well. I can't remember the name of the book but I think I wrote it down somewhere.

I hope you and your "puter" :) are feeling better! I ralised I haven`t posted anything here although I got the adress for about a wee. One thing`s for sure, Christina needs a brain reload! :) I haven`t managed to read all your posts so far but I am so impressed with the sincerity and kindness you put into every phrase..You are a special person and I hope you can one day realise that for yourself and think more of yourself than "a simple secretary". I love the way you talked about the sky in this post, I share your feelings entirely. Just one question. WHO told you you CAN`T paint or write? I as reading this theory yesterday, it comes from a writer so he should know! :) He says that it doesn`t realy matter HOW you express yourself, that writing is more than nicely shaped words. It`s about feeling and sharing your thoughts with sincerity and candour. It`s like Moro said, we all have our own stories to tell. It would be a shame to deprive the world of your story, especially since it is such a touching one. I remember a line from Life As ( ... )

Hey Chris *waves back*

You are such a nice person. Whenever I hear from you (or chat with you) you always make me feel so much better! I've missed you and the others at the GB so much. Between the holidays, computer problems and then being sick I just haven't had the time, energy or resources to do much of anything except what absolutely has to get done.

I bought this book "Coaching the Artist Within" and I'm hoping that I can find some medium to express the things I want to express. I just started making my second quilt and I really enjoy it. I also have started a journal where I just write whatever pops into my mind. I just feel that I have something to share with the world but not quite sure yet what that "something" is! Maybe when I grow up, I'll figure it out LOL!
