Well, it's Wednesday night and the weekend it on the way. Boy, has it been busy at work and I've been just plain grumpy! Now that my cold is better I think I'll have to get a nice bottle of wine for Friday night and relax

One of my favourite films is "How to Make an American Quilt" so I imagine you sitting round with your friends like they did in the movie. It's a real "American" thing, isn't it, but good to have some "girly friend time", too. I'd love to see the finished article!

That's one of my favorite films to! We do some work by hand (like the women in the movie) but for the most part we all use our machines. Some of the ladies have machines that do everything but make coffee! LOL

Quilting! I've always admired those with the patience and talent to do it. Quilts are such beautiful, functional works of art. Sharing the process with your sister and friends sounds like so much fun, too! I can't wait to see your finished work of purples and yellows.

Aaaah I would so love to do something like Quilting and with a good groups of people... The longer I live in the UK the more I really do miss certain things about back home; although not enough to move back LOL!!!

I would love to do a quilt of purples, creams, blues and raspberry sherbert... Do post some pictures of your marvelous creation when its done! I just love arts and crafts. Id also add a venetian mask to my motif if I had that level of talent LOL!
