I'm starting to realize that, in a corporate environment, admitting you have the ability to do something is one of the most dangerous things you can do. Because suddenly every task that involves that ability becomes your problem

Yeah I learned that lesson in the corporate environment a long time ago. They want you to do extra work but offer no extra incentive or compensation.

And when you're not thrilled to be doing extra work for nothing, they look at you as if you're crazy.
