With the kids gone off in the yellow bus, I return to a quiet house. The day begins. With my two semi-retarded cats, I start into a different kind of day, than I ever experienced before. The possibilities of endless jobs is fascinating. I could clean without someone messing up what I just did, I could watch a movie uninterrupted, I could sleep,

I'm sorry to hear that you've hit a snag with your living room project. It's really a bummer--but maybe the wallpaper will have lots of light glue so it's easier to soak and strip. I remember just taking the dog border off my walls in my room--it took me a while. It's one of them there meticulous, pain-in-the-ass jobs.

Anyway--I hope you had a happy V-Day all the same and tried to stay nice and relaxed. Take it easy hun.

P.S. I feel your pain with wanting to delete LJ and Xanga and the like. Don't let a few people get ya' down though. ^_^ You could always put little comments on all their journals ("Yo, bitch--why ain't ya' talkin' to me?").

It sure is meticulous! Aarons mom picked us up some remover crap, so we will try it next. There are 3 layers of paper!! Ugh. Alex offered to help us, so we invited him this evening. Not sure if he is coming or not...My VDay was typical. Nothing special other than ordering Chinese take-out. Aaron worked during the day, I worked at night. I guess the living room will be our reward.

Thanks for the tip on the journaling. I like LJ, it is the one I started with. Xanga is kinda nothing to me, I joined just because. MySpace annoys me, cause I have all these "friends" that don't reciprocate. I comment on their stuff, and they ignore me. It hurts sometimes. I just need to quit caring so much!!
