What the everloving fuck.

I can't even.

Man, 2005 Me owes current Me a real apology; she thought nobody could ever get elected to the Presidency who would make Dubya look like a thoughtful person of intelligence. Her imagination was sadly lacking.

Not that this gives him a pass, but am seriously thinking that those who claim he's in early stages of Altzheimers are right. Nobody is this dumb.

I don't think he's dumb; I do think he's a simpleton who doesn't think Big Thoughts like someone his position should, namely because nothing in his life has ever depended on him thinking Big Thoughts. He was born with things handed to him, he's continued to have things handed to him by being a blowhard and small-minded, and oh look, it hasn't stopped yet. I can't even get a decent job that breaks mid-five figures and this guy practically trips into the Presidency.

Actually, no, I think he is dumb as well as a number of textbook personality disorders. The level of self-destruction that has occurred over the week shows that he can't even muster enough smarts for self-preservation. What I think he does exemplify is how far you can get on white male privilege in this country. Even if you're a sexual predator, a sociopath, and lacking in even the most rudimentary of social skills, you can be president. Contrast this with Clinton's story of being trailer trash and making it to the White House. Of course he has an I.Q. somewhere in the 150's. It is obvious that the sophistication of Trump's speech has deteriorated remarkably over the course of 15 years. And his father suffered from Altzheimer's (which has a strong hereditary ( ... )

Ohhh, well, if his father had Alzheimer's, yes, it's entirely possible he is in the pre-stages. The shit of THAT is if it was announced tomorrow that he has it, there'd be this big push to "be sensitive" and the like about it, whereas I'm not in the mood for that.
