Special Bus Crash Victims Cheat Sheet
This is the first time we are meeting most of the bus crash victims, and almost everything we know about them is said in this episode. That said, the information does come pretty fast, so for those who want extra help keeping the victims straight, here they are:
Meg was pregnant when the bus crashed, by her ex-boyfriend Duncan Kane. Earlier this season, Duncan was entrusted with some of Meg's computer files, including private emails, in order to keep them away from Meg's fundamentalist Christian parents. When Duncan had to leave the country, these files were left behind, and Veronica now has them.
Cervando was in the PCH motorcycle gang, although he was considered unusual because he also got excellent grades in school. It is rumored that he owed money to a dangerous family, the Fitzpatricks, and that this may be why the bus crashed.
Peter was a poster on message boards for gay students at Neptune High. Before the bus crashed, he was talking about "the outing of all outings" which was going to happen soon. Neither Veronica nor the viewers know what Peter meant by that.
Rhonda made a phone call to her friend from the bus, and was in the middle of leaving a voicemail message when the bus crashed. Veronica has heard this message.
Marcos was co-anchor of an underground radio show called Ahoy Mateys, in which he and a friend played music and mocked the students of Neptune High. Veronica spends a lot of this episode listening to old episodes of Ahoy Mateys.
