I've been doing a certain amount of reminiscing today and feeling all sorry for what has passed (mainly my long gone teenage years). Spooky goings on.
What a very peculiar day at work yesterday. First one of our ladies nearly died at the dining table at lunch time and stopped breathing twice before the ambulance arrived. Very stressful! General gnashing of teeth.
I've been rather niggly today. With good reason, I think. Firstly, my dearly beloved husband wore my most very bestest ever pair of jeans to work. Went on his bike in them! It's been a busy week. I had my routine check-up at the hospital on Wednesday and all was well. I don't have to go back for six months (cheer!) as opposed to every three months.My consultant asked me all the usual questions, not losing weight being the first one. Ha ha! I've been to the funeral of one of my neighbours, Eddie. He had been very ill for a long time so it was a relief. But what a drama! In Memory of Jade Goody
I can't say that I was a particular fan of Jade Goody, the 'strangest star' of our time but I am sad about her death. I think I've felt every emotion going whilst watching her over the years.
