I had and awful day at work yesterday. We had a nursing home inspector from hell on an unannounced visit. She was very intimidating and interrogated nearly everyone. She had Phil, our maintenance and fire prevention manager stammering! I didn't even know that he had a stammer but apparently he does when he's very, very nervous ( Read more... ) -

I've just got in from work. Kristina, now officially ten weeks pregnant, is in danger of exploding if she carries on eating like she is doing. A lady who went off sick last December has returned to work. She is sixty seven years old and has to work because she hasn't a private pension to look forward to and she is older than her husband so they won ( Read more... ) -

I just scanned a few more old pictures and I'm more or less done with it. Just a few more baby pics to do. Today I mostly did a few old work photo's so that I can send them to folk I use to work with. They'll either be really pleased or horrified.

Wierd and wonderful and just sad.
There's wierd and wonderful things going on at work lately, amongst the staff anyway. Two are pregnant. Christina,who is from Lithuania has been trying for a baby for ages and was getting quite moody about it and Tracy who works on the cleaning side. I went looking around the grave yard at the church at the top of my road yesterday. I was looking for any Baxters and Wareings and there was oodles of them.
