For a few months now, I've been feeling like life has never given me a break. Finally, it feels like I'm getting one. I've landed a job, starting next month, where I'll be working night shifts at the hospital's rehab ward. My financial worries are at ease for now, and I feel like I can breathe again. "Great" would be a slight overstatement, but I did have a good day, and the weekend hasn't been the worst, either. In the end, it's always that isolated, lonely feeling that gets me, when all practical issues are (mostly) taken care of.
