The venue staff was amazing up until the one guy working the balcony grew a chip on his shoulder. I'm sure all of the screaming put him in a bad mood. I was slightly bothered by how, at times, all I could hear was a buzzing noise because the shrieking was so intense. You get over it and deal. But he chose not to. Instead, he thought it would be fun

It was hot, sticky, sweaty, messy, obnoxious, fun, frustrating, exciting, terrifying, and every other thing you can think of. But that's exactly what I expected. But as intense as it was, I can't wait to do it again next year.
The past few days I've been a wreck. Over money, over moving, over work, over everything. Nothing has been able to lift my spirits. I wish my medical at work would kick in soon. I called off today because I was up half the night in serious pain. I slipped a few days ago and (what felt like) popped my right hip out of place and pulled a groin muscle. It all was feeling pretty swell and dandy again until last night. vacation was pretty nice. dc sucked. a lot of really mean people. the lincoln memorial was amazing. georgetown parks was very lovely, as always. the national zoo was nowhere near as awesome as we expected. the pgh zoo won that battle, easily. the "national aquarium" sucked terribly but the "national aquarium in baltimore" made up for it.
