Murmaid The Water God test animation
(the Usopp in my icon actually reflects how I 'm feeling because of LJ cuts)
So! Here's a rough test animation of the intro, folks!
Whaaat? At least 4+ hours of work.....for less than twenty seconds of test animation awwww
Oh well~
I think the timin' is ok, but when I watch it through youTube, there's a slight delay. Dunno if it's just my the internet connection, since it looks alright as a .mov file, but I'm sure I'll work out the kinks when (if?) I make the final thing!
The Mermaid's swimming out was pretty difficult to figure out, since she doesn't have a tail 'n all. I guessed that it's mostly going to be upper body movement, rather than lower body movement seen in the first Murmaider music video.
The swim animation looks choppy, with a lot of exaggerated arm movements, but that's what I'm going for (still, I hope I can smooth it out a little more)
I was actually plannin' on watchin' some videos of people doing the snake (or whaever it's called nowadays), but I kinda never really got around to it hahaha.
Ooh, and has anyone watched the TV show Archer? It's on FX here, and it's fuckin' hilarious <3
I'm also gonna try uploading a few silly monster designs soon! Stay tuned~
