Ok, so Schwartz PR has made me into the innocentive poster child, and called me about two weeks ago to ask when I'd be in chicago to do a photo shoot for the suntimes. Now ... the man from whom I learn automation talks about "8 bite unassigned bytes can hold from 0 to 256"..."bite"="bit" for those of you a bit slow on the uptake, and I think 'unassigned'='unsigned', though where the 256 comes from is anyones guess, I suppose there is an extra 'stupid teacher' parity bit no one has told me about.
