and that's what you get when you let your heart win;
Hey guys! It's been awhile, but as a few of you have probably caught on.... I dye my hair for the holidays~ And though it's a bit late this year, this fact has not changed.
First off, this is my hair dye collection at the moment! It kind of built up over the past few months. My two favorites are the Special Effects Napolm Orange (far left) and the RAW True Blue (third on the left). Alas, for this particular venture, I used Beyond The Zone Not So Shy Violet (second from the right), Beyond The Zone Tripped Up (TM) Turquoise, and Raw Fire Red (middle) which I finally killed off. Had that one sitting around for nearly a year. :|a
Ahhh, the infamous bleaching. I had to take a picture of this (even if the color doesn't show up well). Why? Well, because the last time I dyed my hair, it happened to be that lovely Napalm Orange I mentioned above in the back, where my hair is shorter.
And it bleached out florescent yellow. Coolest freaking thing omg. *u*
Then we have the random color spectrum that always comes with bleaching my hair. Seems like that pink is finally gone. Only took about two years.
For some reason, the purple actually came out looking kind of... silvery. I was not expecting that at all, nor have I ever seen such a dark dye come out as such a pastel color right away. The turquoise didn't stick very well over the blond for some reason, so there are a lot of random different areas where it looks really light and different shades in general. Mostly pretty over all, though. And of course, the one random red streak. Because well. It is Christmas.
Slightly better view of the red, even if the picture quality is really terrible.
Over all, I can't say I like the Beyond The Zone brand very much, and I think the slightly pastel colors would have been better for Easter, but I'm still pleased enough with the results.
And a bonus pic!
My Christmas present from Bluejay~ Pretty, isn't it? I HAVE ACTUAL JEWELRY TO WEAR it's so weird. ....also, green lighting. Which is why I don't take pictures in my room. I have the strangest lights set up in here. :|
