Okay, I know my stories are about death lately but I promise to post a chick lit thing after I finish it. I'm almost done with an eleven chapter thing. A novelette. Be happy because I am happy!

Mine Forever

“Jessica, what’s happening?” He asked. His face went pale as he stared at a girl’s body on the floor of his girlfriend’s college dorm room. The color of her face was bluish white. Her eyes bulged out and her mouth was slightly open. He saw a red mark around her neck that must’ve been caused by the yarn that was loosely tied around her neck.
Days ago, that girl was alive. Days ago, she was pregnant of his child; the child that was the fruit of his betrayal to his girlfriend, Jessica.
“Is she dead?” He asked even though he already knew the answer. Could Jessica have really killed that poor girl?
“I did it for you! Wasn’t this what you wanted?” Jessica said as she stood up from beside the cadaver. She took a step forward. She smiled sheepishly at him with a frightening glint in her eyes.
“No! Get away from me!” He said as he stepped back. He loved Jessica and he couldn’t leave her. So, he told her the truth about cheating on her with the girl that now lay on the floor. Jessica forgave him and promised she’d help him solve this. “I never wanted this!”
“But you wanted to be with me and the only way that could happen is if your problem goes away!”
“Not like this!”
“It doesn’t matter! We can be together, forever!” Jessica said reaching out for his hands.
He shook her away. “No. Not after this!” He turned around to leave. He wanted to get out. He was frightened. Before him was a corpse and a deranged Jessica who has the capacity to hurt people. He just wanted everything to go away. He wanted to shout for help but he couldn’t.
Jessica stepped in front of him, blocking the door. “You said you loved me! Don’t you?”
“I don’t know! After this, I don’t know!” He said.
She stepped forward. “I love you and you said you did too!”
“Get away from me!” He shouted and shoved Jessica to the side but he felt a pang at his side and as he saw a knife embedded at the side of his torso, the pain of it piercing his body rushed all over him.
He fell on the floor, caught by Jessica’s lap. He saw her look at him with a smug look then everything went black.
Jessica sat on the floor, his head on her lap. She ignored the pool of blood forming from his wound. She brushed his hair in a caress. Then she whispered; “Now I’ll never lose you to anyone. You’re mine forever.”
