well after almost two full weeks of this shit, the move has finally been completed (cleaning and all). I still have to finish setting up the new place, but I can do that at my leisure.

I got a job! I got a job! I got a job! And I'm back at work at Microsoft! WooHoo!

And to top it off, I found a good cheap apartment. I move at the end of the month.

This has been a great week. Time to do some celebration

well I had a job interview today. I think I did fairly well. I blanked a little when they asked me to do some on-the-spot coding, but I think I pulled myself together in time. Waiting on the verdict now.

Despite the fact that Washington is still one of the highest rating states for unemployment, they've decided to discontinue any benefit extensions. As of this week, I am officially without benefits and have no job in sight. I am so screwed.

Does anybody know of any freelance or telecommuting web developer or software testing positions?

Well no go with the interview. While the guy was impressed with my resume and with my enthusiasm, I just didn't have the skill set they were looking for. He did give me some resources to check out though, so at least it wasn't a total bust. Back to the drawing board.

WooHoo! After months of no responses on the job search, I finally got a call this morning to schedule a phone interview. The interview is for 5:00 today. Yeah!
