From Paper to Memory

First Anniversary: Paper

The presents were inventive that first anniversary.  Paper was hard to come up with ideas for, they said, but they managed. A lot of photographs, a couple books, and two old-fashioned paper gift certificates from stores that still provided them rather than the more common plastic cards.  And then there ( Read more... )

Okay, so I hate my alarm clock right now. I have NO idea why it did not wake me up because it has never done that before, but in any case, it's 2:45 AM and I am up on my own and reading this, and I think my heart imploded multiple times, and this is amazing and you are amazing but it's 2:45 and I have lessons at 9 so I've GOTTA go to bed, so I'm going to do that and pray that my alarm works in six hours, but I loooooove and you = awesome and now I get what you meant and you win a lot and it's 2:45 and I have to sleep now but talk tmrw!!!

Thank youuuuuuu,
K

Holy mackerel.

Here from azelmaroark, obviously, and ... wow. Loved the quiet tone, and while I usually dislike stories in summary (I'm a details ho0r ^^;), this was absolutely lovely. I adored the little snatches and details in the snapshots. *makes heart out of hands*

That was awesome. :) None of it felt out of place at all, despite it going so far past the end of canon. It all just ... flowed.

It gave me happy wiggles. :D I'm reallyreally glad I followed the link to this one.

Thanks so much! I swear it was the longest 2400 words I've ever written *laugh* It was actually a really interesting mix of canon, semi-canon, and non-canon. Azzie and I have talked Reduct for hours-and-hours, going way past the end of the story to play with the kids growing up (and occasionally their kids), so I did have a lot to go on--but there's also a lot that I made up on the spot. And there's a couple little in-jokes. Annabelle curing AIDS is to cure a character who winds up with Shawn in an AU where Shawn actually didn't die and finally escaped FSoK to find Andrew married to Caleb (it's a really angsty, messy but occasionally amazingly cute AU, crossover with a freaky, dark TT fic). So little stuff like that. Which was kind of amazingly fun ( ... )

Um, yeah, I don't think I mentioned Caleb to you. ::smiles sheepishly:: I was talking to versatiloquence about posting the (substantially huge-ish) bits I've written later on, but wasn't sure if anybody would get it and/or care. I'm currently trying to figure out how much backstory is necessary to know what's happening, hehe.

But yeah, Caleb is canon, FYI! Avea just has to put up with all my cries of "hay hay lookie I have a new character!", so she knew first.
