Who: Yozak rutenberg_spy and Conrad guardian_conrad When: immediately after dinner with Cloud in their apartment Where: their room Why: Yozak is in trouble for being lazy Rating: bad Conrad! some naked ;)
Conrad had washed his hands and stepped right in to Yozak´s way. "Yes, he is a bit quiet. I´m not sure if he is really hiding something or if he isn´t used to company."
And now that Cloud was not there anymore he could have his little revenge chat with Yozak. "Say, Yozak. Could you help me with my back? It´s still hurting." His smile was friendly like ever but deep down in his eyes something dangerous was sparkling.
"Thank you very much. I will take a shower first if you are okay with it. I want to go to bed after you finished to patch it up." Conrad turned towards their shared bathroom.
"I strain it a bit. I´m quite tense at the moment." He looked back over his shoulder. "I hope you want mind if we do it in my bedroom?"
"No, no, that's fine," Yozak assured, waving a hand as if to shoo him off to the shower. "Whatever you need, Conrad." He added a stupid-looking smirk. "Just don't take too long in there or I might fall asleep on the couch."
Even though a promise still waited to be fulfilled, Yozak wasn't thinking too much about it. He knew not to push Conrad, he never did. So, even though he remembered it right at that moment, he didn't even consider that now might be a good time to get his answer. He simply flopped back down onto the couch and relaxed, once again patting his full stomach. Taking care of Conrad's injuries was something he would do without even needing to be asked, it was part of being his friend and comrade.
Yozak winced a little before he could stop himself. He preferred honesty, but it was making things so much more difficult. This was precisely why he hid his feelings for so long and hadn't wanted to let them come out. "I'm not so foolish as to expect a romantic fairy tale ending where you tell me you feel the same way and we live happily ever after," he said in that low voice he used when he was being serious. "But...I need to know that there is something. Something that would be different from two lifelong friends who look out for one another and enjoy each other's company." It was terrible that there was no way to name that "something," or really explain it other than to know whether it was there
( ... )
Conrad felt that he was letting Yozak down with his vague answer and he was sorry for this. But he wanted it to work and he didn´t want to base their relationship on a lie.
He laid his hand over Yozak´s lacing their fingers together. His voice was low and serious. "I wouldn´t want to try it if I wouldn´t feel something more for you as simple friendship. You had years to get used to it and to see if your feelings are true. I just started to realize that somebody was interested in me, somebody whom I trust with my life and my secrets. I´m far behind you, wait for me while I try to catch up."
He chuckled, relieved that Yozak had his priorities straight. It would have been a hassle otherwise when they went back to Shin Makoku.
"I count on it that you will try to take them down. Because I know that I won´t be able to do it alone."
The gentle touch brought a smile back to Yozak's face, and he moved his hand to accept Conrad's. "When you put it that way...I get it. Then, we should move at your pace. If I get too eager," he grinned, "pull me back." He lifted Conrad's hand to his lips and kissed his knuckles.
"Your goals are mine. That won't be a problem." Yozak laughed lightly. "Besides, his majesty has charmed me as much as anyone else. I wouldn't fail him in any way. It just so happens that it means I won't fail you either."
It was a strange feeling for Conrad to experience such a gentleness from his long time friend. It was as if he saw Yozak for the first time and his heart told him to be careful. His rational side was surprised and his sensitive side was wary. This was so new for him.
"He can be quite charming, right?" He leaned closer, bumping his shoulder against Yozak´s.
"Thank you Yozak. My pace might be a bit slow. However I hope you can read the signs when I need a little push though."
Conrad liked the way Yozak explored his mouth. He could faintly remember that his female partners were always to shy to do it. He brushed his tongue against Yozak´s, playing with it and returning the pleasure by exploring the redhead´s own mouth. His tongue slipped in the hot cavern and brushed against the cheeks before joining its partner for a small, gentle duel.
It didn´t go unnoticed that Yozak shifted his body. Maybe he was to heavy? He pulled back, his breathing a bit faster than usual. "Sorry, I´m to heavy?"
Oh, now that was a kiss. Yozak moaned softly into it, meeting Conrad equally and then gradually surrendering to him, letting him take the lead if he wanted. It was more than he had ever hoped for, and well worth the wait.
Yozak's eyes snapped open at Conrad's question. "Uh...no," he whispered back. "You're fine. It's fine." He chuckled at himself and rested his forehead against the other's. "You're very talented, you know."
"Talented? Now you are flattering me," he rubbed his nose against Yozak´s, out of a childish joke. "It´s years ago that I kissed somebody."
He turned his head and looked down Yozak´s body or rather at the half part which weren´t covered from his own. He saw why Yozak shifted away. Smiling, he looked back at his friend. "But I don´t seem to have forgotten anything."
"No, you certainly have not," Yozak smiled back, with an embarrassed chuckle. Stupid leggings not hiding anything. "It's, ah....a compliment? I don't want to rush into anything, after all." It really was nice just being with Conrad, Yozak couldn't complain at all.
