i don't know if i should feel upset or sorry for people who find it amusing to dump all over other people's happiness and success in relationships. I've earned it and I have gone through the trials and tribulations. I deserve a happy life just like anyone else does. So, just because you are miserable it's cool to try and take my happiness away? amen sister. my recent biggest pet peeve is when i tell people i'm getting married i get responses like "why?" or "so you can have a miserable life? good luck with that." seriously - if you have a bad relationship/marriage, that's cool but that doesn't mean that i will have one. it annoys me to no end.

i take a certain amount of satisfaction in knowing that i have a nearly perfect relationship with the man i want to spend the rest of my life with and in the beginning we had SO many people rooting against us. there was even one person who said i was only with him to prove people wrong. now that pissed me off.

in summation, people who are unhappy with their own lives suck when they try to bring others down with them.

i have people tell me all the time that they are suprised that "we've lasted this long". It's like great, i am glad that you thought that something i think is highly worthwhile is just a joke. it makes me question MY position with these people.

Frustrating to no end, especially a year later.
