The Cleaning of the Kitchen
I am being Plotty. For as you may recall, the state my parents keep the kitchen in is horrific.
They also left this afternoon for a week, to attend my ex-brother's birthday.
Those of you who know of my tendancy to grab on to lost causes and go, "LIVE, DAMN YOU, LIVE!" may be able to see where this is going.
So the plan is, while they're away, clean out the kitchen. All of it. This will involve, among other things:
Once I have completed cleaning, I shall then take reference photos, and again every week after they return, and we see how long it takes for it to return to Pigsty. Fun!

- Doing washing of dishes that have been sitting there since 2004.
- Throwing out cooking utensils that haven't been used since 1993.
- Obtaining roach, mouse and ant barriers or traps.
- Moving several appliances into a sterile chamber to be bombarded by radiation.
- A visit to the doctor for my developing back pain and migraine.
Once I have completed cleaning, I shall then take reference photos, and again every week after they return, and we see how long it takes for it to return to Pigsty. Fun!
