This is what happens when you sleep until 9:30...you're up at midnight and after. (And phone calls from friends don't help! Love ya Deb!)
Up in the morning (moving amazingly well for having walked 20 miles about 48 hours before), and checking information on The Fever, which stars Queen Vanessa of Redgrave and premiers on HBO tomorrow night (Wednesday...9:30 EDT). Cannot wait!!
The horror! I'm out of diet Coke! So it's into the Starbucks stash. I might have to start working there again...I'm almost out. This is Rift Valley. YUMMY!!
That would be peanut butter toast with syrup. I was feeling creative. And yes, Sir Benjamin Coffin the Bird is trying to get some. Of course.
Decisions, desicions. Which book to take for lunch reading? (I've started all three.)
Final First Year Teacher's meeting with Ms. Principal. It went well. We should get our tentative preference sheets on the 22nd (last day we can by contract). They're subject to change.
Lunch! Consisting of pretzels and ritz bits left over from the stash-o-snacks I nabbed on The Overnight. And look! It's princessrex, Stitch and me in the background!
Ah yes... Reading. This book won because it can't be renewed (waiting list) and I don't own it.
After lunch was sans kiddos. Half-day clerical day. I'm working on Cumulative folders. What joy, what rapture!
Quick trip home and a check of the f-list. Get well wishes and hugs to lovetakesyouin!!
What I did tonight. Class. My book, the print out of the powerpoint presentation my group was SUPPOSED to do, my flash drive containing said presentation, chips, a hot dog, and a diet Coke. The meal was the best part of the evening. Suffice it to say I'm having to sit through my classes and Fellow Advisory sessions all over again because this is the GENERAL ed people's only SPECIAL ed class, so we're having to go over EVERYTHING!! Tonight was a total waste of my time. I went for a presentation. Because I had an offer for something else. But I didn't want to let my group down. We got bumped to next week.
What I should have done tonight! babybeehive had an extra ticket she offered to sell me. I didn't take it because of the aforementioned delayed presentation. I should have taken it. LOVE that show!!
Bonus pic! Our word was "secret". Note the deodorant. :)
