hi there! i found you on ditl, and we are also both members of a few of the same communities and have interests in common. (ACK, you love HP tooooo! ;))
Hi there. You commented on my comment in bookish, and I figure that anyone who is as obsessive about linking to the right cover is probably someone I should be friends with. I read a lot, but I've been posting about it less often because only a couple of people on my friendslist read a lot.
I like that your "books read in 2009" post shows up first. I normally post one book list at the end of the year, so the only way you could see my 2009 books would be to look at the tagged entries. I notice that we both read The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and The Pillars of the Earth this year. (I liked both of them, but I think I would have liked Pillars of the Earth a little more if there was a little less rape in it.)
Hi! I will definitely add you back. I can't wait to browse through your tagged entries more thoroughly..I scanned through quickly and noticed that you have been reading the Anne of Green Gables series and I am excited to read your reviews. I have never read the books, but I adore the movies. I will have to add the books to my "to-read" list!
Are you on GoodReads.com as well? If you are let me know and I will friend you there, too. That site is addicting!
I am on there, but I haven't used it in a long time. (I just logged on, and it says I have no books!) You're welcome to add me - I may go in and add all my books when I finally get them unpacked. (We just bought a new house.)
I liked most of the Anne of Green Gables books, although there was one that felt a little more tacked-on than the others. I was reading those online during some downtime at work, but I think I've finally got more to do, so I may take a little longer to finish the last couple. They're fun, though - if you like the movies and don't mind that not a whole lot happens, I think you'd like them.
My e-mail address is lynda_j_jones @ yahoo.com if you want to friend me on GoodReads! I think the only way to search is by e-mail address, unfortunately.
